Are you stuck with a relationship problem? Is there an issue where you are your partner go round and round in circles?
If you’ve read my books, seen my videos or found my website helpful, you might be thinking of having therapy with me.
Intensive Therapy is useful if you are thinking of making a BIG decision. I am offering five sessions across a week – Monday to Friday – at my practice in Central Berlin.
This will give us enough time to fully understand where you are, your options and where to go next. At the end of the week, you will have a clearer sense of where you stand and make a wiser decision.
But Berlin seems a long way away?
I’ve had lots of people who would have liked to consult me but London was too far. Doesn’t Berlin make it worse?
At first sight this might be the case but in London I offered weekly therapy – which was only suitable for people living in the city or the outskirts – but in Berlin I will be offering a block of five one hour sessions across a week: Monday to Friday.
Think of it as a therapy holiday (there’s lot to do and see in Berlin) or a retreat (I can suggest books to read and our sessions will provide a lot to reflect on).
My availability in London was very limited and I had a waiting list which made it hard to respond when you needed me or to take advance bookings. In Berlin, you can book ahead for a week that is most convenient for you.
What is the difference between intensive therapy and weekly sessions?
By coming to Berlin, you will be leaving behind your regular life and its day-to-day stresses. Not only does it give you a chance to re-bond and talk but we can delve deeper in to the underlying problems in your relationship.
Sometimes with weekly sessions, important discussions happen several days before and its hard to remember the key points or work issues have swamped personal ones.
By going away and having daily sessions with me, you can really focus and make a leap forward in understanding each other.
My husband and I arrived at Andrew’s intensive counselling in crisis after an affair. Full of resolve to make our marriage work but with very little idea of how to navigate the pain and few skills to manage the future. Andrew provided empathy and expertise in equal measure. Deeply understanding our situation and guided as through with care and wisdom. Thank you Andrew for saving my marriage and my mind and gifting us with skills for the future.
We have just completed a three day intensive therapy with Andrew. We were both apprehensive initially and nervous, but the experience has been tremendously uplifting. We have learnt so much about each other, rediscovered our strong love and commitment to each other, but also faced up to some really challenging situations and behaviours.
Andrew has navigated us through the journey of understanding the affair and equipped us with new skills and knowledge. Thank you so much. You have saved our marriage.
